Kamp Out to stand in solidarity with homeless youth in Otsego County, MI

Join us on Saturday, April 29th at 8 pm on the

Gaylord Community Field at Gaylord High School

to join the fight to end youth homelessness one day at a time in Otsego County.

There are several ways to get involved with Kamp for a Kause:

  • Join us at Kamp for a Kause as a family, individual, or student

  • Raise awareness & fundraise before & during the event

  • Partner with KHYP as an event/annual sponsor (community partner)

  • Start a Kamping Business Team with your workforce to foster meaningful connections as a brand and raise awareness about the adversities young people experience in the face of homelessness in our community. Learn more by reading our Kamping Business Team tier by clicking here

  • We’re on a search for Keynote Speakers for our event that are experts in adversities that young people face, like mental health & wellness, domestic abuse, addiction, housing, career development, education, and more.   • Live outside of Otsego County & want to help raise awareness and fundraise? Register today and join our event virtually from the comfort of your backyard.

    Families or Small Student Groups (2+ individuals)- $50/startup donation Businesses & Organization Teams - $500/startup donation (Business Team Tier) Students - $10/startup donation

    Individuals - $25/startup donation

  • Once you’ve registered and paid your startup donation, create your peer-to-peer Kamp for a Kause Fundraising Page with a photo and custom participant URL that you can share on social media leading up to & during the event.

    Every person participating as a Kamper will have a minimum start-up donation in order to participate (see above). We recommend starting your Fundraising Page at least two weeks prior to the event in order to maximize reach and create an impact.

  • Prior to the event, you will receive email and text messages updates from the Kamp for a Kause Event Team with the schedule and list of things that you will need to bring to the event. Kamp for a Kause will begin at 8 pm at the Gaylord Community Field, or from your backyard. Check-in will begin at 7:30 pm. The evening will include presentations from guest speakers, live entertainment, music, a starry night vigil honoring homeless youth, fundraising opportunities, a morning reflection, lite breakfast, and more.
