to join the fight to end youth homelessness one day at a time in Otsego County.
There are several ways to get involved with Kamp for a Kause:
Join us at Kamp for a Kause as a family, individual, or student
Raise awareness & fundraise before & during the event
Partner with KHYP as an event/annual sponsor (community partner)

Weβre on a search for Keynote Speakers for our event that are experts in adversities that young people face, like mental health & wellness, domestic abuse, addiction, housing, career development, education, and more. Families or Small Student Groups (2+ individuals)- $50/startup donation Businesses & Organization Teams - $500/startup donation (Business Team Tier) Students - $10/startup donation

Once youβve registered and paid your startup donation, create your peer-to-peer Kamp for a Kause Fundraising Page with a photo and custom participant URL that you can share on social media leading up to & during the event.
Every person participating as a Kamper will have a minimum start-up donation in order to participate (see above). We recommend starting your Fundraising Page at least two weeks prior to the event in order to maximize reach and create an impact.

Prior to the event, you will receive email and text messages updates from the Kamp for a Kause Event Team with the schedule and list of things that you will need to bring to the event. Kamp for a Kause will begin at 8 pm at the Gaylord Community Field, or from your backyard. Check-in will begin at 7:30 pm. The evening will include presentations from guest speakers, live entertainment, music, a starry night vigil honoring homeless youth, fundraising opportunities, a morning reflection, lite breakfast, and more.
